- Contribution receipts are not applicable to a TFSA. Contributions to a TFSA are reported on an Annual Information Return submitted to Canada Revenue Agency by SLF.

What do you need to know?

  • Receipts will automatically be issued if cheques are dated and received on or prior to the last day of the RRSP season.
  • First sixty-day receipts cannot be requested if money is received by the advisor after midnight on the cut-off date.
  • Investment directions completed for a transfer of money from a non-registered contract to a GIC, Superflex, or Pre-Superflex RRSP, received  on the last day of RRSP season will not automatically create first sixty day receipt.

If your client expects a first sixty-day receipt for the transferred money, you must e-mail ServiceNow to request the receipt.

*Please see Tax slip and receipt mailing schedule for all Individual products for cut-off dates.
